5 Gum Reviews

Okay, so for this post, I am going to make 5 reviews on 5 different flavours on the 5 gum brand. So, the first on is going to be flare. Then, it'll be solstice, lush, elixir, and cobalt.
FLARE:
Okay, this is going to be the second best flavour in the 5 gum franchise in my opinion. When it first goes into your mouth, you feel a nice cinammon taste. The cinnamon taste isn't very strong, but it is significant.
After the initial taste, the cinnamon fades away and then a honey flavour kicks in. The honey soon takes in and then remains dominant. When you eat it, it gives you a very warm feeling so it's good for the winter. I think the flavour lasts quite a while and is an overall great gum.

Flavour: 8.5/10
Length: 9/10
Price: 8.5/10
Originality: 7/10
Overall: 8.25/10

Notes: Good score and 2nd best on my 5 gum list.

SOLSTICE:
Alright. When I first tried this gum, I instantly knew that i just paid for something overpriced. I am not saying that this gum tastes awful, but I could have bought the same thing for cheaper. The gum tastes exactly like the black coloured excel. Exactly. No joke. And, I don't really think it does what the commercial says. "Starts off cold and then hot." Well, I don't remember exactly what they said but that's the idea. The flavour itself isn't bad though.

Flavour: 7/10
Length: 7/10
Price: 6/10
Originality: 0/10 (C'mon man)
Overall: 5/10

Notes: Buy the black coloured excel one. The only difference is packaging.

LUSH:
This has to be my favorite gum of all the flavours. This is a citrus fruit flavoured one and that's why I like it. My only complaint is the fact that after a while, it melts into goo and tastes weird. That goo then turns into a viscous liquid and can flow anywhere in your mouth. Anyway, I don't have anything else to say about it.

Flavour: 9.5/10
Length: 7/10
Price: 9/10
Originality: 7.5/10
Overall: 8.25/10

Notes: Do not chew for extended periods.

ELIXIR:
So, this gum is basically a watered down version of fruit punch in the form of a gum. This is also a bit gross because it contains cochineal, or also known as red-40 which is a natural dye... made from beetle juice. Yes, the dye is extracted from a beetle, and the juice is red. The juice is extracted by squeezing the bug. Pretty gross. Might I also add that the gum doesn't last very long.

Flavour: 6.5/10
Length: 6.5/10
Price: 6.5/10
Originality: 8.5/10 (Never tasted a fruit punch gum before.)
Overall: 7/10

Notes: Not bad, just not very much flavour and too much beetles.

COBALT:
This is my third favourite flavour in the brand. This gum is a nice minty one and can last pretty long. This is a good one that I recommend for sure. Nothing else to say about it. Well, it is peppermint.

Flavour: 8.5/10
Length: 8.5/10
Price: 8.5/10
Originality: 6.5/10
Overall: 8/10

Notes: Pretty good. Not very original because a LOT of the gum out there is mint.

Well, that's it for now. This took quite a bit of time so enjoy. Sorry but no fact today.

I'm Back!

Okay, I haven't made a post in a very long time because every time that I say to myself that I'll do I later decide to put it off.
Anyway, a bunch of things have happened so this one is probably going to be a long one. First, I got a new game for my 360. I got Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and started playing as soon as I got home. I finished the campaign in around two days and it was pretty fun. So far I am level 26 online and have a couple of attachments for each gun. This maybe just me but I always think that there aren't very many maps to play on because they always use just some maps. I am somewhat thinking about getting a refund on the game because it has sort of lost it's allure for me and there is also a scratch that my stupid 360 made. There is a new game coming out next Tuesday called Just Cause 2 which if you haven't played the demo is pretty much like Red Faction Guerrilla. You just destroy a bunch of military and government stuff causing chaos. The map in the game is about 16 by 16 miles big and includes a jungle, desert, city, mountain tops, and oceans.
Next, if you've read my post about gum, you'd know that I'd like to try a flare flavored 5 gum. Well, one day I was walking through the mall and I pointed out to my mom a convenience store we just passed that they had a lot of flavors of 5 gum in there all in a line. That's when I noticed that there is about 4 packs of flare in there. The pack was a freakin rip off ($2.25) but I wanted to try it anyway. Later I found out that there were two different flavours released about a week ago and a thing holding five different flavours. Anyway, I'll make a review of the gum next time.
Next, I went downtown this Tuesday. First, I went to the Kenny v.s. Spenny house and took some pictures. The house lives near a small park filled with dogs, dog owners, homeless people, and prostitutes. Real fun park!!(sarcasm) After going to the house, I went on Bloor and Yonge and went inside a Louis Vuitton store (Filled with 7 people. A person that works there, a security dude, three women, my mom, and me.) After that, I went to the Nike store, Winners, and ended up going to the Eaton Center.
Here's something random that I did on February. One mourning after falling asleep, I woke up with my sheets missing. I immediately thought that I started to get warm and kicked the sheets off. I looked on the front of the bed, the back, both sides, and even under it. Soon, I looked in the closet for another blanket and found the one that went missing stuffed in there. Mom said to me that she apparently heard me talking while I put it in the closet.
Anyway, that's all for now.

Topic related fact!: When you dream, you can see, feel, hear, smell, and even taste anything! But to avoid any harm to the body, your brain releases things into your body to avoid any harm. If not enough of that stuff is released, that can cause sleepwalking and even causing you to wake up and be paralized for a couple seconds.

Facebook: The Popular Drug of Choice

I meant to post this yesterday but laziness and procrastination got the best of me. We're still friends right?
Anyway, this post is about the drug of choice to most people that sit around the office chair and have their eyes glued to the monitor. Why do I call it a drug you might ask? Well, it's how most people like to kill time on the internet like looking at cat websites and going "LOL" and moving on to the other picture. After a while of mindless surfing, that person might stumble on to a website and stick with it. That person will then get addicted. Once addicted, the addict will tell other friends about it.
I hope that it made sense. If not, think of it this way. Some people consider it a drug because they are addicted to it. The side affects would be wasting way too much time online. You might not think it's wasting time if you are addicted though. The only thing an addiction on the internet cures is boredom.
Sure,I might not enjoy facebook as much as my friends because I live in a different location (the other side of the country). The only thing I do there is pretty much chat with friends and I might check on my pet once in a while. I guess I probably don't see the fun because I am only able to chat at the very least at 6:30 here. Why? Because I live in Toronto and most of the friends I chat with live in Prince George. That is a three hour time difference. When my friends get home I am already eating dinner.
I think that the fact that someone thinks facebook is addicting is just ridiculous. No one is ever going to approach you on the street and go,"Hey man! You uhh.... got a group invite? How strong is it? You better not be a cop."
If you think facebook is addicting, it's not. Chances are, your life probably sucks. Facebook is somewhat a fad that will come and go. It's popular, and then starts to slowly decline. Facebook will soon be like Myspace. It was very popular and now no one really cares about or uses Myspace anymore.

Topic related fact!:There are over 400 million active users! (People who have returned to the site in the last 30 days) Addicted much?

Gum

After an hour of my first post, I pulled out a pack of gum and took a piece out. When i took that piece and put it in my mouth, I was wondering what is the best gum out there. I am taking account for the best flavour, long lasting, and price.
In my 7 long years of going on the computer and playing games and surfing the web, I have spent a significant amount of time looking for the best gum out there. I have seen many forum websites and a small amount of polls but they aren't the most accurate and proffesional.
The forums that I have seen usually talk about the gum that lasts the longest and most people say that it's Stride. I know that I don't know Stride that well even though I have heard a lot about it and seen many commercials on the tv. I have only chewed two packs of that stuff in my life and think that it's alright.
The polls that I have seen are usually small polls made by people that have their own little website like mine with around five choices of the most popular gum like
5, Stride, Extra, and Trident. The people who vote on it are usually the person's friends.
Another gum question that bothers me isn't as old as the first one.
Why don't they sell 5 flare gum in Canada?
If you are from or in a country besides the US or never heard of it, it's just a cinnamon flavoured 5 gum. The packaging is red and the picture on the right is basically fire ball. I could still get that flavour of gum because I live pretty close the US and Canada border but it would take a while. All I would do is get someone to drive me to the US, pass the border, go to the nearest gas station and buy up all of the flare they have.
As a big fan of gum, I would enjoy trying different kinds including bacon flavoured, this beer smelling one, and a wasabi flavoured one. Anyway, I guess that's all for today.

Topic related fact!: It's illegal to sell, buy or eat gum in Singapore. If caught, there is a nasty fine. All I know is I don't wanna go there.

Hey!

Hey, welcome to my blog! This is clearly my first post and in this one I'll try to explain what this blog is going to be about. Basically most of my posts are gonna be about my point of view of things, discussion of what's going on the the world, and at the end of each one, there is gonna be a topic related fact or two. I will try to make a blog as often as I can but some days I will probably too busy with homework. Anyway, keep posted for more posts and comment or follow if you want.

Topic related fact!: If you want to set up a website in China, you will have to submit identity cards and a photo of yourself, as well as meet regulators, before your domain name can be registered.
It's related because this new blog is a new website.
